: Finally got the cedar strips cut and milled (B&C for the hull)

Hi Jason Im also at that point with my Wee Lassie canoe Im using a combo of wide and narrow strips on the sides and switching to just narrow on the bottom.I also wondered if the sides would spring out when some of the few brads are removed.Using bungi cords and spring clamps for the most part.About 1/2 done on the strips.I used the 5/4 cedar decking because it had the tightest growth rings the rough sawn cedar had wide growth rings and was knot as nice to machine.Good luck on your boat.
