Skip,

The fit of the bulkheads will be loose or tight, depending on how far forward you place the bulkheads. As long as the bulkheads are not too small, you do not have a problem. I have built two Pygmy's and I ended up trimming the bulkheads for both boats. I solved the problem on the first boat by trimming a cardboard replica of the bulkhead first until I had it just right. I know it won't help you now, but on the second boat I found it much easier to glue the bulkheads into the hull before installing the deck.

Another tip for intalling bulkeads; put the boat upside down on two supports and work from underneath with your head in the hatch.

: I've been building a Pygmy Coho for the past few months, and have finally
: attached the deck to the hull. I was curious to see how tight the
: bulkheads would fit, only to find out that it seems as though the bow
: bulkhead is too tall to get in. I know that there is some variance due to
: the layers of glass on the inside, but should it really be that tight? Is
: it possible that they shipped me a bulkhead kit for another model?
