I'm certainly not a seasoned builder, but I used both MAS w slow hardener and RAKA w/350 hardener for exterior glassing. I would recommend RAKA w/350 as the price is good, I didn't have any problems with "wetting out" the fiberglass, the 350 doesn't blush and is slow enough for the beginner to work with in small batches. Larry at RAKA is knowledgeable, as well. And if you are going mail-order, he has other supplies at good prices.
