: Rehd,

: I have spread three different kinds of epoxy for three different S&G boats in
: >100 degree F weather here in Phoenix without trouble. Seems like the
: stuff flows fine in the heat. I'm usually happy when a clear coat sets up
: fast so I can go on to the next step - like not having to wait more than a
: couple hours to scrape the lumps off. Wetting out glass is a little
: tougher when the 'poxy gels fast - but still doable with a satisfying
: combination of haste and patience.

: I don't blame you for not wanting to work in the heat - especially if your
: heat comes with humidity - something I don't have to deal with this time
: of year. I definitely recommend a sweat band to keep it off the boat.

: Glad to here you are started. I wish you would have cut my panels out. I
: never get that part right - but then I get to do quite some fiddling
: around to recover for the rest of the project. It's amazing that such
: ineptitude can result in a decent final product. Good enough for me
: anyway. A few minor built in defects make those scratches easier to take.

: Well - I'm actually cooking tonight - best get after it.

: I always enjoy your posts - be well.

Hey Paul

I hear you folks have been playing around with the 115* temps out your way. I know it's much dryer out there, but, 115* is still murder. I doubt we could even go outside here with the humidity and the smog. Anything over around 108* and they give warnings on air quality and warn everyone indoors. Except the mailman of course. :) I'd light the Bar Bee Que but, it would raise the temp around 20* and the neighbors would complain. :) Enjoy the cool weather over there. LOL
