I installed the bungie system on my coho.

It came out really nice, but it doesn't seal ! The bungies pull down just like they should, almost vertical. they apply alot of force, & it's a hassle to close & open each hatch cover, but still, it doesn't seal !

few days ago I ordered the hatch holding hardware from pygmy (without the wood) & already got it. I'll install it when I get the time.

the advantages of the bungies for the hatches are:

1. it's flushed with the deck & you don't see anything.

2. if they don't work, you can always just leave them there & install some other way to hold the covers.

the disadvantages are:

1. it's a pain to close & open the covers. there's no way you can do it with cold hands or wounded fingers.

2. they don't apply that much force on the cover like the external systems do.
