I bought the 5.5oz x 50" that Richard asked about.
I later bought the tape from John R. Sweet, in Virginia, with some different stuff I had coming from them.
Ash for inner and outer stems from Edensaw in Washington.
I bought a strobe and compass from cyber-marine.com, in Connecticut.
Epoxy was from Raka in Florida.
Veneer for coaming from Certainly Wood in New York.
Hull wood purchased locally in Montana.
I love ordering stuff off of the Internet! (My wife, on the other hand, is threatening to cut up my credit card!)
: What is the name of the cloth that has the fibers in it that dissolve when
: you use polyester resin? I know that's what I don't want because epoxy
: will not dissolve the fibers so they show through, but I don't remember
: the name.
You're probably thinking of mat? The fibers don't dissolve, but there is a sizing/binder that is polyester soluble.
