John; Go for it. I'm not a skilled woodworker by any stretch and have a limited amount of tools. I find the work very relaxing and rewarding. There is no end of great help on this web site. The only advise I would give is don't set a deadline. That way you can't disappoint yourself. Good luck...Phil
