Lou, The hot glue trick mentioned worked for me. I had the same problem and glued it to the form before I glassed the outside. You will have to remove the tape off the form to get the glue to stick. Also the trick Ross mentioned works great as well. If you really have a problem you can bring it back in a little when you glass the inside as well by using some long clamps or tape to pull across at the shear line. I used a combination of all that to keep the deck and hull as close as possible. It makes a big difference when you go to put the two together. I had a real struggle on my first boat as a result of not doing any of the above as I progressed through building.
