I hope she has a good trip... and that she makes it. I looked at the site and checked her gear list.... and noted a complete lack of mention of any safety gear whatsoever (unless you count the cloth anchor in the cockpit).... no flares, first aid kit, spare paddle, weather radio, no mention of a PFD (in theory she's wearing it!)....and no mention of a paddle float or bilge pump, so her roll must be absolutely bombproof! (but the site does tell us how much underwear she's taking!) ... and she is doing this in a wooden kayak.

I hope that it's just the website that has an incomplete list.... and that she's not heading out as underequipped as her website says she is (unless there was part of the list that I just didn't see).
