I ordered the plans for the Guillemot "L" and the kayak making book. Anyone make this boat yet? Also, I called around and found a source for clear cedar. I found a source in Indianapolis selling 1" x 4" for $1.55 per linear foot (probably the actual size is 3/4" x 3 1/2"). Is that a reasonable price? They said they had lengths up to 16 foot long. Anyone have an estimate on how many pieces of those strips I should purchase to start with?

Now I have to wait for my plans and book to come. Guess I'll go out and paddle my Pungo. The creeks are up and lots of good places to go now.
