Peter, Glue some scrap pieces of whatever wood you used in the boat and shoot it full of staple holes. Then try filling with different mixes (color) of dookie schmooze and/or tooth picks and see if you think it's worth it. I tried to match the color of the wood for my last batch of schmooze, it ended up darker than I had hoped for but still looks pretty good. Its a judgement call. Don
