Thanks to all who gave suggestions below.
My next question is that since I have already glued a large portion of the hull and there are some sections pulling away from the forms, could I steam those sections (which are glued, but still have the staples), and then use a couple of small finish nails and tape to hold them to the form? The steam may initially weaken the joint a little, but once dried again, would the glue still be strong enough to hold it all together when I go to remove the staples? I was thinking that if the non-conforming section was steamed with an iron and moved into position it might be more apt to stay there.
Spidey, did you do something with damp towels and an iron on the middle part of one of the hulls you were building?
