:Ross's comment about the compass reminded me that the magnets might damage/re-program your GPS and cell phone, too if you have them. I guess we don't have to worry about pacemakers just yet. There is someone on e-bay that sells a lot of rare-earth magnets, but I don't know anything about the price, reputation, etc. (Lee Valley tools is in Canada, correct? - is it a hassle getting items shipped to the US)?.
