Right, it was Northwest Lumber. In fact, I just got back from there. I bought ten pieces of 1 x 4 cedar in 15' to 17' lengths. I also bought one cyprus board 15' long x 9" wide. After getting it home and looking at it, I'm pretty sure it will be enough for my kayak. I've got a lot of misc. wood that I might integrate into the kayak, such as walnut and white ash.

I also ordered a cove and bead bit for my router table so I can shape my strips. Now, I can get into this; woodworking on something for me for a change in pace.
