I bought my 1/4" bits from Lee valley Tools in Toronto. Approx $ 50.00 CDN per set. These have worked out really well ( I actually had two 1/4" routers which allowed me to keep each set up ), there is no need for a large HP or 1/2 " router.

: I have all my strips cut and I am having trouble finding 1/4 inch drive
: router bits for cove and bead. the reason I am using 1/4 inch is because
: that's what I have access to, that out of the way....I have looked on the
: internet and locally for these bits, local search has been fruitless, most
: suppliers of bits can't even get them from their supplier, have found a
: couple on the net, one set from NC seemed "top of the line" and
: priced out at about $100, I also found a set from a company in
: Philadelphia called MLCS, priced at about $45, one of the local suppliers
: said that the bits from this company were imported from an asian country
: with a poor human rights record and were less than desirable, I need to
: know if any of you have used these products, heard of these products, or
: can recommend another source, ( looked on the web at the supplier
: mentioned in Nick's book and the bits were not listed) thanks for your
: help, RMD
