I plan on ripping a bunch of my planks tommorow and making the bead and flute cuts. I want to get some of the work done, even though my plans haven't arrived yet. But, before I start ripping my planks into strips and making the bead and flute cuts, I want some advise. I plan on ripping the planks with my bandsaw, using a resaw blade. Should I make the rips thick enough to plane both sides of the strips? I was wondering how you experienced guys did it.
Thanks,
John
