Hi! I ripped all my strips with a table saw exactly 1/4 inch, and they were just a fraction to thick, now I am milling them on the router and the beads all have just a small ridge on both sides, tried adjusting the router and got the best I was going to get, I would definitely check the thickness to insure that this wouldn't happen again, honestly can't see using a bandsaw and getting the accuracy necessary, later, rmd
