I wonder if you could glue and nail a strip, say about 3/4" x 3/4" around the perimeter of the form. You could either cut the grip strip out of plywood, or you could simply steam a 3/4" square strip and then nail it on. Then you could use spring clamps to pull the wood strips tightly agains the form. What do you people think?
