: Has anyone tried to scarf their boards together prior to ripping into strips?

Scarfing board will result in a slant on the surface when cut into strips. It has a much smaller glue surface than strip scarfing. The heat builds up when sawwing the board may soften up the glue, resulting in separation. Most of all, it is extremely hard to handle and saw a 20 feet long board and keep the thickness even on the strip.
