Hi! I have just finished building a CLC kayak, and the vehicle I now own is a soft top Jeep. I found a roof rack in Quadratec Summer 2000 catalogue, its a two piece affair, with one part mounted to the windshield and the second part, a "T" mounting to the spare tire.

I'm wondering whether anyone is familiar with this rack, and if Yakima / Thule accessories may be used in conjunction with it. I'm primarily interested in rolling the kayak on and off!

The kayak is 15' and weighs in the vacinity of 50 lbs.
