Old Ft. Townsend St. Park is 4 miles south of town. You'll see the sign on Highway 20 as you're heading toward Pt. Town.

Ft. Flagler St. Park is on Marrowstone Island -- turn at Hadlock.

The campground at Flagler is much larger than the one at Ft. Townsend.

If there's camping at Port Ludlow, that's news to me. (But there's a county park at Oak Bay (it's either there or at Mats Mats) that allows camping...that's all in the same neighborhood as Ludlow). Ditto for the county park at Lake Leland (on highway 101) south of Discovery Bay toward Quilcene.

The next closest option would be Sequim Bay St. Park -- Highway 101, east side of Sequim Bay. (before you get to Sequim.) -- in terms of # of campsites, it's twice as big as Ft. Townsend, a bit smaller than Flagler.

: Andreas,

: Did you try Old Fort Townsend State Park? It is South of town a few miles, it
: is where Joe stayed last year. Across the bay is Fort Flagler. I think
: there is also Camping at Port Ludlow.
