: Has anyone had good, bad, or indifferent experience with Craftsman table
: saws?
I bought a 10" Craftsman in the mid 70's and have used it sense. I got it (new) cheep and currently have a 3/4 hp motor on it. I also use a Freud 7 1/4" thin kerf blade on it.
My main complaint is that it is difficult to move the arbor to steep angles, ie, 30 degrees or more, because of the Acme Screw thread they use for the adjustment. I've considerd replacing it with another machine but have resisted spending the money so far. (Any ideas for improvements are welcome.:) )
Don't know how much money you plan to spend, but you might want to look at the Grizzly offerings.
