I just installed the radical gear under thigh braces made of softer minicell. I loved it so much because it enabled me to paddle in real comfort and with better boat control. With the thigh cradles you can always have your knees in contact with the upper braces without exerting force on the foot pedals. You can still easily do a wet exit if you feel you must, and getting in is not much more of an ordeal. I contact cemented in the cradles using a velcro system so that I can remove the cradles for cleaning or making slight changes in the cradle position. I just ordered blocks of minicell from the above retailer to make some heel cradles and maybe redo the seat back. Thanks to all for the name of the retailer. Minicell is really a wonder. When I have to stop paddling it is never for overtired upper body muscles or back, but my injured left thigh bicep area, and now 2.5 hours poses no need to even rest or stretch.: For my Guillemot, I installed the front bulkhead with a slight forward slant
