So there I was...

In my Ford Bronco [10 miles to the gallon] heading west on route 67 leaving Seymour Connecticut [groan] and in front of me heading east bound - lo and behold - a strip built guillemot atop some ones car. Actually, I cant tell which Schade yak it was by model, but it most definately was one of his. The color was a moderate tan brown tone. No fiery redwood or the like. Beame had to be in the neighborhood of 22". Certainly less than those Perception "Barges" normally seen .

Have to say the sighting was more invigorating than had I seen the bird itself.
