Hi Andy,
I used two 2X6's for my strongback and then made the stations adjustable to allow for any un-evenness. I have found that the form has not moved at all even with long periods of sitting in the garage without working on it. (Its a money thing!!)
One day I will get at it but right now I am gearing up for a 2 week backpacking trip with my children. It can wait!!
