Most of it. I think you can rip the strips in about 3 hours, and bead and cove them in about the same time, or a bit more. That would be one long day, or two afternoons. If you are using a 2x4 strongback then your assembly time is inconsequential. If you are using a boxbeam or a steel or aluminum rectangular tube, or a ladder-type strongback, then your construcion time will be a bit longer, say, up to 3 or 4 hours. A lot depends on how complicated you are going to be, and whether you count the time going to the store to buy the wood.

You will pass a big hurdle after you layout and cut the forms. Your next big hurdle is when you finish stripping the hull. by the time you finish stripping the deck you are a bit past halfway. Glassing, assembling the deck to the hull and finishing (including the sanding) will then take you to about the 90 percent done point. The remaining 10 percent is fitting the coaming, hatches, seat(s), decklines, etc.

The first time you do these things it will take you longer. If you have done them before you can organize your time more efficiently. Plan on building two boats. The second one will go faster.

All time estimates are my own. You may be faster, or find a segment goes slower for you.

Hope this helps.
