Yeah, the're not well advertised. I think the only mention of them is in the Fall 99 "Notes from the Shop". John has made a few comments about adding it to the list of boats on the web page, but I expect that they are too busy to do so.

I built it from a kit rather than plans. When I ordered it, I was in the middle of a move and almost all of my shop was in the process of being stored at a friends house. It's still there, and I just couldn't see going through the layout and cutting process and still get the boat built on schedule. I will be building another one for my wife (yes I'll happily send them the $10!), and it will be built from the plans.

In the fall, after we have moved again (I hope), I'll make something for myself.

Yes, it's pretty stable. My 11 year old daughter had no trouble with it at all. Within minutes she was spinning it on wavetops and surfing down the faces of boat wakes!

My wife tried it and found it fine as well, despite being a bit bigger than my daughter.

I finally got to take it out. It's a nice boat. I was surprised at how stable it was considering that at 5'10" and 160 lbs, I'm somewhat oversize for the boat. It tracked incredibly well, but was a bit sluggish turning. Not really suprizing as I had it fairly low in the water. Both my daughter and wife turned it much more easily than I.

Hope this helps.
