That's what I thought: I started with 3 layers and it wasn't enough. I ended up adding another 2 layers of 6 oz. and 1 layer of 15 oz. biaxial--they're stiff now! Also, remember to wait past the green cure stage until the epoxy is getting quite stiff--I had a bit of initial deformation because I peeled too soon.
