By brother and I have the first of our Guillemot S&Gs fully glassed and are itching to give it an advance trial before varnishing, painting, and fitting out the final details. My questions are:
How much direct sun exposure is OK prior to glassing? I'm planning on 2-3 hours in the glaring summer sun - any risk there?
How much cure time should I allow my final coat before getting it wet (I know this is a very relative question... ambeint temperature around 80 degrees and humid, Raka standard/fast hardener mix).
After the trial run, we will be taping the seams and glassing my brother's boat. Is there any problem letting mine sit without paint/varnish for a couple months (in a basement)?
