Tom, I like the maroon ones better than the the green. I use them wet, they leave a nice dull finish but don't remove as much material as silicone carbide wet-dry paper. They work great for sanding around contours.

I think 5 coats on a deck is a makes a nice deep finish and 3 coats on the hull is about right.
