I have just epoxied in the hatch/compass mounts and put on the final coat of epoxy on the deck of my stitch and glue this past evening. Should be seaworthy.
I would like to get it into the water as soon as possible to prepare for a symposium I am attending at the end of July. After the symposium, I am able to devote time to properly paint the boat which could include stripping anything I do now.
Does anyone have any advice as to putting an opaque finish to protect the boat now and perhaps serve as a primer for the future paint job?
