Here, cedar in "D" and "Aye" grades is available.

The "D" is less expensive but has knotts and is only available up to 16' lengths.

The "Aye" is more expensive ($140 for 3 - 20' 2x4's) but has no knotts and is available to 20'.

Clear Redwood is also available to 20'. It's also expensive.

: Specify "D-Select Western Red Cedar", which is virtually knot-free.
: For example, you might say something like: "I would like 120 lineal
: feet of 1" x 6" D-Select Western Red Cedar".
