if it were me i'd stick to what i know. clc has got a good skeg design. it won't break the bank at $10 for plans either. if you are concerned about control lines i'd tinker with the clc design. it won't take a rocket scientist to figure out a way to run the lines under the deck. i'm intending to purchase this clc design and put it on my pygmy. let us know how it this project goes. just remember, all eqipment will fail. the more simple the design the easier it will be to fix. good luck. brett
