Hi Dean;
About the only thing RF could do to wood is heat it, which would correspond to my experiences with heating and locking strips and panels in place. An RF chamber that found the wood as a lossy dielectric could probably do a far better job of heating the wood uniformly and to a sustained higher temp than my hot-air gun . . . ;-)
