Now why is it that whenever the NOS or NWS issues a small craft advisories, they're recommending that folks get their boats off the water, BUT it makes kayakers' collective pulse quicken?
There you are, sitting in your office, listening to the radio, and you hear of a Small Craft Advisory:
-Your hands cramp into claws that could only be useful for holding a paddle.
-Your eyes instinctively squint to keep out the blinding spray.
-You lock your knees under your computer desk and brace for better control.
Okay, I've gotta get out of the office! Here I come, weekend!
Happy paddling, Shawn
: I might build myself a short,
: maneuverable play boat to go out into the surf zones in small craft
: advisories.
