: There you are, sitting in your office, listening to the radio, and you hear
: of a Small Craft Advisory

: -Your hands cramp into claws that could only be
: useful for holding a paddle.

Maybe your just holding a mouse and a SpaceBall (for rotating a 3-D model in CAD)...

: -Your eyes instinctively squint to keep out the blinding spray.

Too many hours in front of the tube can put a strain on your eyes...

: -You lock your knees under your computer desk and brace for better control.

Maybe you just have to go to the restroom...;-)

I once got chewed out by a jet-skiier for being out in a small craft advisory. My boat is 18' -- hers, 6'. And as long as I can keep my paddle (I have a storm paddle for a spare, so I should be able to keep at least one with me), I can get myself back to shore. What happens if her engine cuts out and won't restart?
