Hi Dale;

Geez, you are even more A/R than I am (maybe) . . . Those little dots of hot glue won't cause a bit of problem in the final equation - - Should a kayak built in this fashion ever fail at that joint, we'll let you know immediately! In the meantime, epoxy strength is usually inversely proportional to cure time . . . i.e., "2-Ton" (60 min) epoxy is generally substantially stronger than "5 minute" epoxy . . . The faster epoxies are generally more brittle. Since you have built your kayak using 15 min epoxy, a small hammer blow at the bow should reduce your triple to small shards of "kayak glass bits," as those in the trade choose to call it . . . [g} A trained professional could take those shards and reconstruct your kayak using proper adhesives . . .
