In Response To: To Wax or Not to Wax? (Dwight)

: Should I apply wax when I'm done to protect the varnish, or should I skip the
: wax in to make it easier to varnish next year?

: If I should wax, what type?

Dwight, I think the wax idea is a mute point. It will maybe shine up the varnish a little, but, I doubt is will protect the varnish against anything you will encounter in the medium you will be using it in. Water will spot it, the sun will melt it and you will fingerprint it. You would be forever polishing it to keep it up. Most waxes don't like water anyway. Just go with the varnish.
