Well, perhaps not proof in the strictest sense of the word . . . This is a 'Vette I built from a pile of garbage, and after all the work and finally 12 coats of lacquer I eventually trusted the day-to-day finish to silicone waxes. In these photos the car is sitting about where my cedar strip ripping setup was . . .

One final comment - The only tool that permitted the 3 or so vette body sections and my new glassing to fair out this smoothly was a sanding board. I recommend using one religiously . . .
