I took a look at a Pungo on Friday, but the owner had taken the hatch off. It certainly looks like you could install a larger hatch if you cut an opening that was larger than the stock flange. If you don't need a larger hatch, check yours to see if it has an o-ring seal or not. If it does, just install a bulkhead and you're done. If it doesn't have a seal, buy a Beckson hatch of the same diameter and install it in the stock opening. Either way, it doesn't look like a difficult project, though fitting the bulkhead will probably be rather time consuming.
