: As far as the weight goes: I used one layer of 6oz inside and out. 2 layers
: of 2" tape on seams. Did not fill interior glass. 3" bias cut
: 6oz glass over stem pieces. Applied 2 extra coats of epoxy on outside to
: smooth things out. 6 coats varnish. 1/4" thick cove and bead western
: red cedar strips (when I drilled for the foot braces they seem to have
: remained close to 1/4". My end pours were each 6oz of epoxy.
: Including the creature comfort seat and Yakima foot braces, it's 34
: 1/2lbs.

Like the design, mine is the inverse of yours.
The only support we can offer is to say " time to build another one".
