Hmmm....How much of a problem depends on how much oil is left there when you start glassing....
a couple of suggestions......put a very absorbent paper towel or cotton rag over the stain and use a warm iron on the rag to draw as much oil out of the wood and into the cloth....don't burn the wood obviously, but you can use a fair amount of heat to get the oil moving....
i might also try the stain remover K2R....is sprays on, drys to a white powder...uses drycleaning solvents.....and the powder absorbs the oils from the stained material....i'm less sure of this one...so try it on a test piece first....
