We were raised in the 60's, Purple is Good !! :) I'm going to try the oven cleaner, and I have a sample piece of wood to try it on. Much more of a stain than the boat. We'll see what happens. The oil is of the 50:1 chainsaw mix, but, after the gas dried, there was just a slightly visible stain. Just don't want to have resin or glass peeling off his boat. I'll let you know what developes. Thanks!
