: I read Nick's book and I think the order of part of the process is to strip
: the hull, flip over while the forms are still stapled in place, strip the
: deck, make the cockpit and coaming, carefully remove the deck, fair and
: glass the outside of the hull, do the same for the inside, then do the
: same to the deck, then get the two together whichever of the many ways you
: want to. Is this right?
: I have read in other places to strip the hull, remove the staples, fair,
: glass the outside and THEN work on the deck, glass the outside of that and
: then work on the inside of each. Since my project will go on over the
: summer and fall, I don't want to glass anything until I can glass the
: inside within a couple of weeks (due to warping, shrinking, etc.). Does
: this sound like a reasonable concern? The strips have been in my cellar
: for 3 months so should be pretty stable.
: Has anyone had problems with the deck falling apart when removing it as
: described in Nick's book? I can just see lifting it off and shattering the
: thing.
