I bought too much 6 oz. cloth last year even though I knew that I wouldn't be building any more kayaks. I'm not addicted! When I finished that boat I left the remaining 45 feet or so on the cardboard tube, leaning against a cupboard wall. I am almost ready to start glassing this year's boat (okay, maybe I am addicted). When I took at a look at the roll, it had sagged a bit and wrinkled the cloth right down the middle. It is not one big wrinkle, but many smaller ones that appear almost like fish scales, perhaps appropriate for the underside of the hull, but not the deck. :-)
Will this cause problems for me or will I be able to smooth these wrinkles out when I wet the cloth?
