It seems like I'm finally going to run out of the sys'3 I got with the coho kit. I'm considering getting a west sys .

some people posted here in the past, saying they used epoxy from 2 different manufacturers on the same kayak, without any problem of one type of epoxy not adhering to the other type, so I don't expect a problem here.

I need just a little amount, to lay some tape on the 2nd cut of my take-a-part, so it doesn't justifies a mail order.

my question is: how does epoxy characters changes between epoxies with different mixing ratios ?

is some type stronger/faster/harder/...... than the other ?

the sys'3 is 2 to 1 the west sys is 4 to 1 all the home type epoxies are 1 to 1

so what's the difference ?

any help appreciated.
