Hey, that was my idea! I asked if anyone had tried Birdseye pine about 3 or 4 months ago and everyone was quiet. Hmmmm!! I love that stuff. Hard to come by out here, but, I used it on many a raised panel cabinet door. I would use a shellac and alcohol wash coat on it, sand it with 100 to 120 grit, then laquer it. Always got that beautiful deep wavy look. Always looked like it was moving when you went by it. Wish I could see that boat up close, as I'll bet it's gorgious. Great Job Joe.
