Hey there Rehd, From the thread it sounds like nothings really helped much. Sorry about that. Ya know, you might want to look at a no-name cheapo type epoxy that is guranteed to blush, but is a simple volume mix and doesn't require some complex menu (did you like that choice of words?) to work. The yak we're building right now we're using a dirt-cheap epoxy called Polycon that is a 3:1 mix ratio, great penetrating properties...meaning relatively fast wet-out (try wetting out a 3.2 oz, 40 triaxial glass). The stuff does have a distinct gold hue to it, though. Best of all, 2 1-gallon kits for a grand total of $82! What I'm saying is that the kit you have has some distinctive tendencies to cure in a range that would qualify it for a Guinness Book of World Records. I can realte on the California heat issue, down here in Insane Diego it's been hot, too. Yesterday morning we glassed the inside of the deck and I still had to wait an hour till the epoxy set up enough to trim the excess glass. You might want to look around for another epoxy? Like I mentioned earlier, I've had plenty of time to make up some silica peanut butter and fill gaps and low areas, then time to rollup the excess into a ball.
Hey, here's a thought: maybe the heat and humidity are issues...how about 0200 sessions, using a pan of ice, too? Maybe the above and immediately spreading the goo into wide, flat pans for heat dumping? Either way, best o' luck on it.
