David, I'm confused. You made a kayak already that doesn't work for her and you're making a kayak that is supposed to be for the both of you. Given the size and weight differences you are going to make a kayak that you can barely fit into or make a kayak that she's going to be small for. So who is paddling what? Which boat did she say was hard to sustain speed in? Which boats of any kind are not hard to maintain speed in for her? Eric Schades 16ft Merganser is nice also.
