In Response To: Design recommendation (GG)

: I've got a CD Slipstream and would like to build something along the same
: lines: Medium chine, decent rocker, swede form 16x22-ish, (not too wide!)
: Ideal paddler weight in the 150-160 range, (medium height and shoes).
: Definitely going S&G due to time constraints!

: I wouldn't mind something a little shorter, say 15'?

: I've heard there's a Tern 14, but think I might be a bit large? Not sure
: about the hard chines here either.

: Open to any and all suggestions!

14 foot boats may be a bit small for you.

try a merganser 16 by shearwater boats (nicks brothers). it is 16-6 and 21" wide. greenland style design and very sweetlines. kits and plans available.

i built from plans and its currently in the varnish stage.
